Surely you are confusing our poor innocent Dolyaks with Enslaved Giants who, indeed, perform ranged knockdowns known as Giant Stomps. The latter, by all means, need to be decimated methodically and consistently, for they pose a threat to all, even in their non-domesticated Frost Giant form.

Also, I must remind all of you that the good Deldrimor dwarves also ride Dolyaks mercilessly into battle. This is not shown in-game, but can be quite easily deduced from their presence in the Deldrimor War Camp and the dialogue spouted from their herder Jarhal Graniteheart, found in said camp.

But they're the good guys, so it's okay. ArenaNet said so.
